 - Pib & Pog (1994); Sound effects; noises made by characters
 - My Baby Just cares for Me (1987); Use of light to create illusions. For example; Light coming through 'window' onto 'bedroom wall'
 - Pop (1996); Use of light to create illusions. For example; Moving shadownbs and light across top of screen creates the illusion of light reflecting off water
 - Adam (1991); Clay. Concept of Metalepsis ('Hand of god'). Use of speed and timing, for example; blurred movements to show speed - when ground is spinning, when the hand picks Adam up to shake him, etc

A still from Adam (1991)

 - Humdrum (1998); Use of shadows for characters. Use of textures on setting; for example; "You want a game of chess?" - wall uses similar textures and colours as previous scenes, but incorporates a light checkered pattern reminiscent of a chess board. Colours; textures and movement of setting also changes between the two characters and their differing moods; while also presenting a combination of textures when the characters share the same onscreen space
