Anthropomorphism: Definition: Attribution of human motivation, characteristics, or behavior to inanimate objects, animals, or natural phenomena.
Example:The clay ball having human characteristics and emotions such as fear; curiosity; sadness; etc. Also by enabling it to be hurt by the shattered glass and to have it bleed; etc.

Metamorphosis: Definition: Change of physical form, structure, or substance especially by supernatural means; a striking alteration in appearance, character, or circumstances
Example: The clay ball being able to morph into the shape of the other objects it comes across; and back again into the shape of a ball; etc.


Metalepsis: Definition: "The hand of the animator reaching into the diegesis of his creations as well as characters communicating with the audience, escaping to the world of their creators or altering their own worlds are all different types of metaleptic transgression" (From 'Diegetic Short circuits: Metalepsis in Animation' (2010), Erwin Feyersinger)

Kinesthesis: Definition: Awareness of the position and movement of the parts of the body by means of sensory organs (proprioceptors) in the muscles and joints
